Evil Distinctions - Jas.2.1-13
In James 2 we get the picture that the early church suffered from prejudice as they functioned like the world around them, valuing the rich while degrading the poor. In this lesson, Thailer explains how such behavior is not motivated by a biblical worldview at all, rather a worldly one. James essentially outlaws the practice of discrimination against any particular socioeconomic status, skin color, or gender. And he does so by reminding us of the social, moral and theological implications of the gospel.
