But Paul explained in Romans 8:18-39 that what is going on in the world around us is not an indicator of God’s plans for us. If we love God, God is going to work everything out. We can simply trust Him and do the next right thing. He’ll take care of conforming us to Christ and getting us to heaven. Everything really will be alright.
